The area of Electronic Technology was formed following the inclusion of the School of Civil Marine Engineering in Cádiz into the University of Cádiz in 1989. Currently, it provides teaching at the School of Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, and Radioelectronics, as well as at the School of Higher Engineering.
Its objectives are to provide teaching in the subjects of the Area, develop projects for training and educational innovation, and transfer skills for creative processes and innovation.One of the most representative educational projects developed in our area is CREALAB.
